Winter

Meeting in Lake Tahoe is always exciting, especially during the colder months. From late November to February, our mountain resort destination becomes a winter wonderland. Your attendees can have all sorts of icy fun outside, including ice skating, snowmobiling, snow tubing and sledding

Winter is also when our world-class ski resorts are open and welcoming snow lovers throughout the season. Treat your group to thrilling skiing and snowboarding sessions on the trails of Heavenly Mountain Resort, which is just over 2 miles from the new Tahoe Blue Event Center and nearby top-notch hotels and resorts boasting over 2,700 guest rooms. You can also take your attendees to try the slopes around Kirkwood Mountain Resort Lake Tahoe or Sierra at Tahoe Resort, which your group can easily get to via  Lake Link, a dependable microtransit shuttle service that offers free, on-demand rides around Lake Tahoe, or another public transportation option.

If you prefer to stay inside, there are all kinds of things for everyone to do, like indoor ax throwing at Yosemite Axe Throwing, wine tasting at the Elevated Wine Experience and more. The possibilities are endless.

Spring

As spring breathes new life into Lake Tahoe, various enjoyable activities become available for groups meeting here from March to May. Temperatures are mild this season, making for a great time to be outside. Your attendees can easily take in nature while:

For attendees who’d like to hit the links, Lake Tahoe is home to several championship golf courses that are perfect for both beginners and seasoned players to tee off on. Two of these fairways that are closer to the Event Center include the William Bell-designed Lake Tahoe Golf Course and the tree-lined Carson Valley Golf Course. Easily get your group to one of these par-71 courses with the help of Lake Link or one of Lake Tahoe’s other public transportation services.

Fall

From September to February, autumn blankets Lake Tahoe in a mix of colors, offering the perfect backdrop for group experiences that capture the essence of the season. During this time, your attendees can go horseback riding down scenic trails throughout the area or play disc golf in green spaces like Bijou Community Park or Zephyr Cove Park.

In addition, fall is a great time for groups to indulge in the flavors of the season. Attendees can take their taste buds on a delicious journey by sipping cider or dining on sweet apple pies and homemade fudge at  Apple Pantry Farm. The memories they make will be priceless.

Summer

Summer in Lake Tahoe—from June to August—is when groups can really get out and explore our fun-filled destination. With endless sunshine and temperatures heating up, your attendees will love kayaking and paddleboarding different waterways in the region, hiking state parks and the nation's top trails, strolling local beaches and fishing.

And when the sun goes down, the excitement doesn’t stop. Lake Tahoe boasts a lively nightlife with something for everyone, such as casino gaming, hitting the Lake Tahoe Beer Trail, dining at local restaurants and more.
