Our serene property spans two acres of lush grounds, and we offer a mix of plush lodge rooms, spacious suites, and intimate cabins for our guests to stay in, all tucked away under the pines – and yet close to the heart of everything South Lake Tahoe has to offer. We are situated on Ski Run Blvd., just 1 mile from Heavenly Mountain, and 0.5 miles from the shore of the lake, within walking distance of a wide variety of shops and restaurants.

New! The Black Bear Lodge in South Lake Tahoe is proud to introduce Madio, our newest and most unique meeting space, designed with intention, creativity, and community in mind. This 500-square-foot space offers the perfect blend of functionality and warmth, making it ideal for small group gatherings, workshops, or creative retreats. With a private bathroom, a small commercial kitchen, and a 275-square-foot pre-function area complete with a cozy fireplace, Madio is more than just a meeting room—it’s a space to connect, create, and recharge.
The space features two adjoining rooms: one that serves as an arrival area or breakout space, and the other as the main gathering area. Both rooms open directly to the Lodge’s back gardens, inviting in natural light and fresh air through French doors. Whether you’re hosting a focused business session or a relaxed social event, Madio offers a refreshing escape from the typical hotel meeting experience.
Please note that the Lodge’s maximum capacity for any type of event is 49 guests, ensuring an intimate and personalized atmosphere for every occasion.
