“Those that Survived.” Local authors and historians David and Gayle Woodruff take on the characters of Donner Party organizers and survivors, James and Margret Reed as they recount the gripping tale how their courageous and heroic efforts helped save the lives of forty five forlorn souls during the frightful winter of 1846-47.
Free to attend! The program is free and open to the public and presented inside the Valhalla Boathouse Theatre 4-miles west of the “Y” in South Lake Tahoe on Hwy 89.
