As of September 1, 2025, the Gondola will run on Friday, Saturday and Sunday through October 5, 2025.

The Heavenly Mountain Gondola is family-friendly and departs from the Heavenly Village in South Lake Tahoe. Hours of operation are 10am-5pm this summer. New this summer: Scenic Gondola tickets now include unlimited rides all day long!

Opening day for the 2025-26 Ski and Ride season is Friday, November 21, 2025. Weather permitting.

Enjoy a 2.4 mile ride up in the Heavenly Mountain Gondola with breathtaking panoramic views of Lake Tahoe. Stop halfway up at the Observation deck for photo ops, snacks, and drinks! Get on the Gondola in the Heavenly Village and have your camera ready the 2.4 mile ride will leave you breathless. Stop at the Observation Deck for panoramic views of Lake Tahoe and the surrounding Sierra Nevada mountains. More information.
