Cascade Kitchens Hosts Fundraiser for the Tahoe Rim Trail
South Lake Tahoe residents and visitors are invited to support a meaningful community initiative during Cascade Kitchens Food Hall & Bar’s upcoming Plates for a Purpose fundraising event on Friday, August 28, 2026, from 5 to 9 p.m.
This month’s Plates for a Purpose is teaming up with the Tahoe Rim Trail Association for Raise the Rim: Final Ascent, celebrating a month of miles logged and funds raised for the trails we all love.
Raise the Rim supports the stewardship of more than 210 miles of trail throughout the Tahoe Basin, helping fund trail maintenance, erosion prevention, accessibility projects, trailhead improvements, youth programs, guided hikes, and more.
Make a night of it with us as we celebrate everyone who spent August logging miles by foot, tire, or hoof, all in support of the trails that connect our community to the outdoors. A portion of proceeds from food and beverage sales will go directly to the Tahoe Rim Trail Association.
Attendees can support the cause while exploring the food hall’s variety of dining options, meeting friends and neighbors, and learning more about the project’s impact on the region.
The fundraiser reflects Cascade Kitchens’ commitment to strengthening the local community through partnerships and events that combine great food with meaningful causes.
