Every year, around the end of November through New Year’s, Heavenly Village offers up fun for children and adults alike with what’s called Heavenly Holidays. Christmas lights adorn the shops and decorations are festooned all around the town. Throughout the month of December, expect to see a tree lighting, fireworks, live music, rail jams, a holiday Ferris wheel, special performances, and more! There’s so much to do during Heavenly Holidays, you might have to extend your trip to fit it all in. The culmination of these festivities is the New Year’s Eve celebration.
New Year’s Eve – Heavenly Holidays reach their zenith on New Year’s Eve when fire, lights, and music fill the air. 4:00 pm – 10:00 pm, Live music on the Main Stage.
4pm – 6pm: DJ Cash Master – CASHMASTER is a highly-skilled DJ and music producer known for playing high-energy, captivating sets. With years of experience performing at top venues like Heavenly Village Lake Tahoe, the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Lake Tahoe, and Bass Camp Music Festival, CASHMASTER brings a unique blend of electronic beats and live-show energy.
6:15 – 7pm: BAHENA – BAHENA is a powerhouse rock band from Sacramento who is currently out touring their latest release. Fronted by one of the most dynamic frontmen in the scene, Jorell Bahena, they’ll have you dancing and singing along to all of your favorite songs.
7:30pm – 10pm: Platinum selling, Grammy nominated country superstar ERIC PASLAY is joined by national touring acts JARED JAMES NICHOLS, CJ Solar and MARK MACKAY
Eric Paslay is known for his own hits like “Friday Night” and “She Don’t Love You,” but he will also perform the massive hits he’s written for others: Jake Owen’s Barefoot Blue Jean Night, Eli Young Band’s Even If It Breaks Your Heart, Keith Urban’s Wild Hearts, and so many more. Jared James Nichols, who’s widely respected as one of the biggest guitar players in the world, is fresh off a massive European tour, and will return to the Heavenly stage since signing a new record deal and releasing a signature guitar with Gibson Guitars. Mark Mackay and CJ Solar, who are also frequent collaborators, have spent the past years touring the country and sharing stages with some of the biggest names in the world: Gary Allan, Lynard Skynard, REO Speedwgon, Steve Miller Band and so many more. They will be backed by an all star band from Nashville TN – who currently play with classic rock heavyweights like The Alan Parsons Project and Berlin. With the backdrop of the greatest fireworks show you’ve ever seen, its a night of top shelf musicianship, performing the soundtrack of your life.
At 9:00 p.m. on New Year’s Eve, in time for the midnight Ball Drop in New York City’s Time Square, Heavenly’s Gondola Ball Drop will cross above the crowd, and a fabulous fireworks show will light up the night. The party continues into the night at one of the many casino nightclubs.
