Friday, August 21, 2026, 7:30 – 8:30 pm. Lake of the Sky Amphitheater at Taylor Creek – Corvids! These birds have been studying you, now it’s time for you to learn about them! Join us to hear about the fascinating Corvidae family! Hosted by our local experts on all things wild, Lake Tahoe Wildlife Care. This family of birds includes crows, ravens, and our local favorite, stellar jays! Find out why these birds are known as “one of the most intelligent and behaviorally complex groups of birds on Earth”!

Sit under the stars and discover Taylor Creek’s Visitor Center’s Lake of the Sky Amphitheater. The open-air Lake of the Sky Amphitheater at the Visitor Center contains state-of-the-art audio-visual equipment where naturalists and visiting scholars give presentation to the backdrop of Mt. Tallac.

The Taylor Creek Visitor Center is located three miles north of the “Y” on Highway 89. For more information, call (530) 543-2674.
