Chicago native John Summit’s rise to prominence is a testament to the power of hard work and creative passion – but what truly sets him apart is his infectious energy and boundless enthusiasm. Whether he’s playing a sold-out festival or an intimate club, John Summit is always the life of the party, bringing his signature brand of high-octane spirit to every set.

And yet, behind the larger-than-life persona lies a relatable, down-to-earth artist who once worked as a CPA by day and taught YouTube music production tutorials by night. Transportation update:
The Tahoe Transportation District (TTD) is enhancing its Route 50 Express Service to accommodate attendees of select Tahoe Blue Event Center events. This extended service offers a convenient, reliable, and free transportation option for event goers, with plans to expand service to additional events throughout 2024 and 2025.
The Route 50 Express will operate between the South Y Transit Center and the Kingsbury Transit Center, with stops outlined in the schedule below. Parking along the route is limited; however, free parking is available at the garage on Kahle Drive near eastbound US 50 and the Lake Tahoe Community College (LTCC) Mobility Hub. The first bus will arrive at the Tahoe Blue Event Center at 5:35 p.m., one hour before doors open, and the last bus departs at 10:45 p.m..
This pilot program aims to support a variety of events, including select Tahoe Knight Monsters games (Dec. 12, 14-15 and 27-29), Disney Junior Live (Dec. 13), concerts, sporting events, and more, providing free, accessible transit for both locals and visitors. Additional events and Route 50 Express Service schedules will be posted at http://www.tahoetransportation.org
Know before you go
- Please allocate extra time for entering the venue. Please have your mobile tickets downloaded before arriving.
- Doors open one hour prior to showtime.
- The Tahoe Blue Event Center is a clear-bag facility.
- Re-entry will not be allowed for this event.
- Parking is available for Tahoe Blue Event Center events at any of the four casinos located in the basin. All parking is paid parking, and rates vary for each event. Patrons living in the basin are encouraged to take Lake Link, the free public transportation service.
- Ticket holders should use one of the main entrances located closest to Highway 50. There are two main entrances.
- Various concession stands will be open! The concession stands are cashless.
