This year’s host is Nevada Senator Cortez Masto.

U.S. Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg has been invited as the keynote speaker for the 28th annual Lake Tahoe Summit.

Secretary Buttigieg was a key player in the development, passage, and implementation of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law. Since the law’s passage, Secretary Buttigieg has focused on effectively delivering the investments provided by this legislation, enabling the most significant improvements in U.S. transportation infrastructure in over half a century. The Department of Transportation also recently delivered $24 million in funding from their Rebuilding American Infrastructure with Sustainability and Equity (RAISE) grant program to extend the popular Tahoe East Shore Trail.

Check-in and a booth fair featuring Lake Tahoe environmental organizations will begin at 9 a.m. The Summit program starts at 10 a.m. After the summit concludes, the booth fair will continue with food for purchase from Beach Bums Bar & Grill.

If you plan to attend, please register online here. Registration will close on August 7.

The summit will also be carried on Livestream HERE starting at 10 a.m.

There will be no on-site parking, so the public is encouraged to use public transportation or complimentary shuttle service. Walking and biking are great options, too. The Lake Tahoe Bicycle Coalition will provide a complimentary bike valet.

If you require ADA parking, please contact Caitlin Meyer at cmeyer@tahoefund.org.
