Ryn Muat
Growing up, Ryn’s parents made sure she spent plenty of time in nature, learning the names of the flora and fauna, whether at home in the Bay Area hills, or at their home-away-from-home in the Tahoe mountains. After seven years in Oakland, Ryn decided to find out if the mountain’s were her true heart’s home. Seven years later, she’s loving her life in Tahoe more than ever with no intention of leaving. Her favorite things to do in Tahoe are hiking, backpacking, swimming, dancing on the beach and exploring the less visited surrounding regions. As an English major, she is grateful to be able to share her insights through writing for Visit Lake Tahoe’s blog.
