Every year, around the end of November through New Year’s, Heavenly Village offers up fun for children and adults alike with what’s called Heavenly Holidays. Christmas lights adorn the shops and decorations are festooned all around the town. Throughout the month of December, expect to see a tree lighting, fireworks, live music, rail jams, a holiday Ferris wheel, special performances, and more! There’s so much to do during Heavenly Holidays, you might have to extend your trip to fit it all in. The culmination of these festivities is the New Year’s Eve celebration. 

New Year’s Eve – Heavenly Holidays reach their zenith on New Year’s Eve when fire, lights, and music fill the air. 5:00 pm – 10:00 pm, Live music on the Main Stage.

Heavenly Village rings in 2026 with an all-star lineup of live entertainment, culminating in a breathtaking fireworks display and the iconic Gondola Ball Drop at 9 PM.

At 9:00 p.m. on New Year’s Eve, in time for the midnight Ball Drop in New York City’s Time Square, Heavenly’s Gondola Ball Drop will cross above the crowd, and a fabulous fireworks show will light up the night. The party continues into the night at one of the many casino nightclubs.

New Year’s Eve Party on the Plaza at Golden Nugget Lake Tahoe Hotel & Casino

Ring in 2026 at The Loft Theatre

The Loft promises a sophisticated and memorable experience for those looking to ring in the New Year in style. The Loft will be transformed into a New Year’s Eve dance party in the Heavenly Village. The soiree will feature an open bar from 10:00 PM to 11:00 PM, DJ Tony Dove starting at 10:30pm, and a midnight champagne toast. The party starts at 10:00pm, and goes until 2:00 am.
