The Stateline Tahoe Snowmobiles site is located at the corner of Lake Parkway and Hwy 50 across from MontBleu Casino Resort. The Meyers area site is at Lake Tahoe Golf Course on Hwy 50. Snowmobiling in both locations is on circular tracks and in open meadow settings. The Stateline site offers views of Lake Tahoe and the Meyers area location has beautiful views of Mt. Tallac and the Sierra crestline. The Stateline site is also a family “one stop activity zone” as tubing and sleigh rides are available, too.
Zephyr Cove Snowmobile Center offers some adventurous snowmobile tours with options to customize the tour to be about as adventurous as you (safely) want. The tours leave from the Spooner Summit area and all have drop dead gorgeous views of Lake Tahoe from the Tahoe Rim Trail at about 9,000 feet. The only other places to see views of this nature are from the Heavenly Gondola and mid-station or from the top of Mt. Tallalc. Zephyr Cove adds convenience by picking guests up from many South Shore lodging properties and delivering them back after the tour. If one is missing warm clothing, Zephyr Cove has rentals.
