Lake Tahoe Winter Reggae Festival Pre-Parties & Events

The Lake Tahoe Winter Reggae Festival is coming to South Shore on February 17–18 inside the new Tahoe Blue Event Center.  This 2-day music festival will take over the South Shore of Lake Tahoe with an impressive lineup that includes renowned reggae acts such as Stick Figure and the talented offspring of the legendary Bob Marley, Damian “Jr Gong” And Stephen “Ragga” Marley.

Concert promoters PR Entertainment and Good Vibez Presents have also curated a series of free live reggae performances in bars, restaurants, clubs, lounges, and even on the majestic slopes of Heavenly Ski Resort’s Tamarack Lodge leading up to the main festival beginning Thursday, February 15.

• The festivities will commence with a live performance by Lizano Unplugged at The Loft Tahoe in the Heavenly Village on February 15 at 9:00 pm.
• On Friday, February 16, skiers and snowboarders can groove to the sounds of Two Peace from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM inside Tamarack Lodge at Heavenly Ski Resort.
• The music continues on Friday night at McP’s Irish Pub, featuring Two Peace from 8:30 pm to 12:30 am.
• For those looking to dance the night away, DJ’s Squarefield Massive from Sacramento will be taking over Tahoe Ale Worx Stateline, spinning reggae vibes and dance music from 9:00 pm to 2:00 am.
• Before the main festival officially kicks off, attendees can gear up for the excitement at the Rise Up Rail Jam Competition on Saturday and Sunday. Held at the Bijou Shopping Center located at 3445 Lake Tahoe Blvd. in the afternoon from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, snowboarders will showcase their skills and compete for cash and prizes, all while enjoying the soothing sounds of reggae throughout the event. All ages and skill levels are welcome!
