A new edition to our regularly offered tours, the Grand Estates takes visitors on a tour through the lesser-known structures at the Baldwin & Pope Estates. Visitors gain access to the Pacheco & Honeymoon Cabin, as well as the Pope House and select servants’ cabins.
The tour also provides a “grand” view of the people, movements and events that led to the establishment of the Tallac Historic Site. Join us in 2024 for a deeper understanding of history in the Tahoe Basin, and its impacts to today!
Ticket prices: $20 per adult and $10 per child.
Tickets are also available in advance in person at the Tallac Museum Gift Shop, Hwy 89 past Camp Richardson (530) 541-5227.
In Partnership with the US Forest Service, The Great Basin Institute offers interpretive programs and special events from May to October. Availability depends on staffing, and schedules may vary from year to year. Learn more about some of our popular programs below!
