Lake of the Sky Trail at Taylor Creek

Lake of the Sky Trail and Tallac Historic Site is a 1.9 mile moderately trafficked loop trail located near South Lake Tahoe, California that offers scenic views and is good for all skill levels. This scenic loop links the natural history of Lake Tahoe to its human history, from the wild creatures that inhabit the Taylor Creek Marsh to turn-of-the-twentieth-century resort owners and their spectacular vacation homes. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, and nature trips and is best used from May until October.
