Taste of Gold will be held Saturday, August 8, 2026, from 6 to 8 pm outdoors on the Lake Tahoe Community College campus. Tickets

The LTCC Foundation will host its annual Taste of Gold fundraiser on Saturday, Aug. 8, 2026, on the mountain campus of Lake Tahoe Community College (LTCC),bringing together vintners pouring award-winning California wines, local restaurants with tasty bites and breweries pouring an assortment of beers.
VIP sponsors will have exclusive access to the event from 4:30 to 6 p.m., including a private hour of wine and beer tastings and appetizers before the event opens to general ticket holders from 6 to 8 p.m. The lineup of 2026 food and wine vendors and live entertainment will be set up in front of the LTCC soccer field in the shaded area under the trees and flow onto the community play fields.
2026 participating vendors include Caesar’s Republic, Edgewood Tahoe, MacDuff’s and Sidellis Lake Tahoe Brewery, Poor Red’s Bar-B-Q and Balletto Vineyards. Solid Gold sponsors for the event are the McKenna Family, Ed and Sara Roos and the Wright Family Trust.
Proceeds from Taste of Gold directly support LTCC students through three Foundation programs: the Lake Tahoe College Promise, Student Success Grants, and the emergency book fund, which together remove financial barriers that keep students from completing their degrees.
The Lake Tahoe College Promise covers full tuition and provides stipends for textbooks and academic support for first-time, full-time students from the Tahoe Basin who are not otherwise eligible for California or Nevada College Promise tuition waivers. At LTCC’s commencement ceremony this spring — the college’s largest graduating class in history, with 422 degrees and more than 200 certificates conferred — the Lake Tahoe College Promise graduated its largest cohort to date, 95 students, while serving 346 active students, the highest enrollment in the program’s history.
Please note this event is for attendees age 21 & over only.
