What we are doing: Volunteers of all ages and skill levels are invited to this fun, hands-on restoration event. By pitching in, you will help improve the ecosystem functions and wildlife habitats that surround Lake Tahoe. Healthy streams, meadows, and wetlands act as natural pollution filters to Keep Tahoe Blue. Volunteers do not need previous experience to participate in the projects. Help us heal the land to Keep Tahoe Blue.

Projects will include:
Saxon Creek:
• Seed dispersal and erosion control blanket installation | Easy Project
• Willow staking and willow revetment | Medium Project
• Beaver Dam Analog building | Medium/Hard Project
Baldwin Beach:
• Litter removal | Easy project
• Conifer removal | Medium project

The League to Save Lake Tahoe acknowledges that its offices and work exist within the aboriginal homelands of the Washoe Tribe of NV and CA. Before they were forcibly removed from their ancestral home, the Waší∙šiw or Washoe People were the original stewards of Lake Tahoe and surrounding lands since time immemorial and have continued to play a significant role in the preservation and protection of the Tahoe Basin. We respect and are inspired by the Washoe Tribe’s legacy and profound stewardship of the Tahoe Basin. The League is honored to work with the Washoe Tribe of NV and CA to protect this special place today and for generations to come.
