Earth Day recognizes, celebrates, and promotes our region’s unique beauty while educating the public about local environmental issues.

Saturday, April 27, 2024, 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM at The Lake Tahoe Community College.

Are you passionate about the environment and helping Keep Tahoe Blue? Our theme this year is Lake Tahoe vs. Plastics and our booths will be centered around our litter initiatives, cleanups and a hands on activity for people to learn about plastics. This will be a fun, free community event with food, music, and Earth Day activities, including a kids zone!

The South Lake Tahoe Earth Day Festival, a volunteer-run, non-profit event, is one of the largest environmental education gatherings in the area. It provides local residents and visitors an opportunity to learn about environmental issues and conservation efforts in South Lake Tahoe.

The Festival recognizes, celebrates and promotes our unique environment by educating the public about the preservation and protection of our local and global natural resources. This is a free, family-friendly event open to all.
