Sunday, October 12, 2025, 10:00 am – 3:00 pm, The Annual Keep Sierra Clean Day is back for its 17th year, and we are excited to get our winter playground ready for shredding.
With chairlift access up Grandview, enjoy the autumn ride up to the top of the mountain + snap a photo of the lake view. Hike the 2.5 miles back down to the base while collecting trash + treasures lost, and scoping out your winter lines before the snow blankets Sierra. Please note, if you ride the lift up, the only way back to the base area is to hike down; no scenic rides available. Please adhere to your own hiking ability.
Before or after your hike, get the chance to continue to plant new roots at Sierra in partnership with the Sugar Pine Foundation + USFS. This year we will be working on reforesting the area behind ‘A’ lot. Visit the tree planting station in the back of ‘A’ lot for demonstrations and supplies to plant your own seedling at 10:30am OR 12:15pm!
Free lunch in Solstice Eatery for participants from 11:30am-1:30pm.
Prizes to be won! Most unique item found, most trash collected + more! Join us for this family-friendly, dog-friendly event. All dogs must be well behaved + on leash – No dogs on chairlift (Patrol pups only).
- Registration + check-in begins at 9:00am.
- If you plan to ride the chairlift, you MUST check-in to receive a wristband, even if you have pre-registered below.
- Grandview lift access from 10:00am-12:30pm.
- Free lunch for participants from 11:30am-1:30pm. Corkscrew Bar inside Solstice will open from 11:30am-2:30pm.
- Weigh Station open from 11:00am-1:30pm.
- Awards at 2:00pm.
The Pass Office will be open from 9:00am-2:00pm. Pick up or purchase your Season Pass! Remember, Sierra-at-Tahoe has gone cashless.
