Methodology Presented by Vans at Sierra at Tahoe

METHODOLOGY is a combination of speed and style. This all snowboarding competition features a banked slalom concept and adds a new element with a special feature before the finish line, allowing riders to shave time off of their run with their best Method Air! METHODOLOGY is an event for everyone, with both men’s and women’s classes.

Spots are limited so register now! 100% of proceeds go to Chill Foundation in 2024. Raffle (open to anyone) will take place during awards with the opportunity to win amazing prizes from our sponsors: Vans “Off The Wall”, Arbor Snowboards, MIZU, Avalon7, Slush the Magazine, Electric, Gozney, Sun Bum, Crab Grab, Eastern Boarder, Live Free Goods, and Pabst. All prizes to be picked-up in-person the day of the event.

The age groups are:
Boys (13 and under)
Girls (13 and under)
Youth Men (14-17)
Youth Women (14-17)
Open Men
Open Women
Gentlemen (35+)
Ladies (35+)

Helmets will be required.

Methodology competitors only can purchase a discounted lift ticket on the day of the event

-Check In/Bib Pick-Up 8:00-9:30 AM (plaza)
-Practice 9:00-10:00 AM
-Rider Meeting, Top of Course 9:50-10:00 AM
-Banked Slalom Race & Hip Method Judging 10:00 AM – 2:30 PM
-AWARDS and RAFFLE (open to all) 3:30 PM (plaza)
