The Team at Red Rock Studio Events is excited to announce the Second Annual Lake Tahoe Electric Transportation Forum on August 22, 2024!

This event is one of a series of annual events at Lake Tahoe designed to attract tourists and visitors to the Lake Tahoe area who appreciate the need for sustainable development and recreation in the basin. It will also provide local businesses and governments the latest information on electric and other clean transportation technologies, economic opportunities, and successful programs that will reduce pollution, save money, and promote related sustainable economic development in the region.

Lake Tahoe Electric Transportation Forum Objectives:

Capitalizing on the success of our events of 2023, namely the 2023 Nevada Clean Energy & Transportation Conference and the 2023 Lake Tahoe Electric Transportation Forum, the Forum will include rich and pivotal content related to federal and local grants, other funding opportunities, and successful programs, with the participation of top policy experts, government representatives, and private sector stakeholders desirous of improving the environmental and economic future of the Lake Tahoe Basin. The Lake Tahoe Electric Transportation Forum brings together local, regional, and national leaders who share a vision of making the Lake Tahoe Basin a world-renowned model of clean transportation. There is an immense amount of work to do to achieve this goal, but there are new grants, tax credits, public/private financing opportunities, technologies, innovations, programs, and other resources that can amplify the important work already undertaken by the clean transportation stakeholders in the area.

Why Electrify Transportation at Lake Tahoe?

Studies show that auto emissions and other air pollutants are a significant threat to the water quality of Lake Tahoe, as well as to the quality of the air we breathe. The expansion of clean transportation infrastructure, such as electric personal vehicles, public transit, and marine and recreational engines, will substantially mitigate the air pollution that threatens the environment, quality of life, and sustainable economic development of the Lake Tahoe Basin.

“Earlybird” registration for the Lake Tahoe Electric Transportation entire forum including lunch, refreshments, and after event mixer is $100 with registration at Eventbrite. There will also be tickets for those only interested in checking out exhibits and displays for $10. For more information or for sponsorship and exhibit opportunities, please contact Kevin McGehee at 775-240-7619.
