Lainey Wilson, the accomplished singer-songwriter and actress has made a significant impact in the music industry. She emerged as a major force at the 2023 ACM awards, winning prestigious titles such as Female Vocalist of the Year and Album of The Year. Additionally, she claimed the spotlight as the CMA’s Female Vocalist and New Artist of the Year in 2022. Hailing from Baskin, Louisiana, Wilson’s journey from humble beginnings has reshaped the Country music landscape, bringing her multiple nominations at the 2023 CMT Music Awards and the “Rulebreaker” award at the Billboard Women in Music event.
With a talent for songwriting, Wilson has collaborated with notable artists such as Luke Combs and Ashley McBryde. Her “Sayin’ What I’m Thinkin’” album produced chart-topping hits like “Things A Man Oughta Know.” Following this success, she continued to achieve multiple No. 1 songs, including her latest hit, “Heart Like a Truck.” Her most recent single, “Watermelon Moonshine,” is rapidly climbing the charts, and her album, “Bell Bottom Country,” has amassed over 500 million streams.
Venturing into the realm of acting, Wilson made her presence felt in Season 5 of “Yellowstone” and introduced her original song, “Smell Like Smoke.” Her electrifying performances have consistently drawn sold-out crowds worldwide. The year 2023 has marked several significant milestones in her career, including her inaugural sold-out headlining arena show. She is also scheduled to join HARDY on tour later this year.
