| We are excited for fall rains and the upcoming plantings season. Please join us to create life in the forest! Be sure to wear closed-toe shoes, layers and bring water and work gloves. We will provide seedlings, shovels and instructions. Plantings are from 10am – Noon. South Shore Saturday, October 11 – Tamarack fire scar near Markleeeville Sunday, October 12 – Sierra at Tahoe Ski Resort, part of Keep Sierra Clean Day Saturday, October 18 – Oneidas & Chibcha in South Lake Tahoe Saturday, October 25 – Corral trailhead in South Lake Tahoe North Tahoe/ Truckee/ Reno Sunday, October 19 – Sagehen Summit, register for Truckee River Day Saturday, November 1 – Davis fire scar in Reno More planting events will be added to the schedule in coming weeks. As always, seedlings, shovels, gloves and planting instructions will be provided. Please wear closed toe footwear and bring appropriate layers, sun protection, water and snacks.
