Halloween Celebration at the Heavenly Village

Trick or Treat! Come celebrate Halloween at the Heavenly Village on Tuesday, October 31, 2023, 3:00-7:00 pm.

• Loads of Candy from Village businesses and local organizations
• $1,000 Costume Contest (to be paid out in cash and prizes)
• Witches Walk
• Bounce Houses, Slides, and More
• Zombie DJs and Live Music Performances
• Free parking in the Bellamy Parking Garage from 1:00-8:00 pm.

Safe Trick or Treat for Kids at the Heavenly Village 
The #1 destination in the Lake Tahoe basin has just become the #1 destination for trick or treaters on Halloween, complete with a $1000 costume contest. The Shops at Heavenly Village has partnered with their friends at Desolation Hotel, Maggies Restaurant, Untethered, South Lake Lodging Association and the South Tahoe Chamber to provide the largest FREE trick or treat event for kids on the south shore complete with a $1000 costume contest. “It is vital to have a safe trick or treat for kids in our community. I am very proud of all the shops and organizations who volunteered and agreed to pass out candy for the kids. The event will include over 50 candy stops from all the village businesses and multiple local community organizations, bounce houses, slides and attractions, zombie DJ’s, [Carnival games and prizes], and live music from Ted Kennedy and the residents. Additionally, showing in the LOFT live theater, a special decorated Halloween matinee of Magic Fusion at 4:30pm. Furthermore, making their appearance is South Lake Tahoe Fire with their firetruck and South Lake Tahoe PD, who will be handing out candy and stickers. 

A $1000 costume contest is also scheduled at the main stage at 6:30pm based on different different categories for the kids. The Shops at Heavenly didn’t forget about the mom’s hauling around their little goblins. A “witches walk” is also on the docket. Mom’s dress to impress in your best halloween costume for your chance to win great prizes.“We don’t do anything small at the Heavenly Village. The event is FREE to the public from 3pm-7pm in the Heavenly Village. 

The City of South Lake Tahoe will be offering free parking in the Bellamy Parking Garage from 2:00 to 8:00 pm.
