Boz Scaggs is an American singer, songwriter, and guitarist who is known for his blues and rock music and has released several albums throughout his career.
Scaggs began his music career in the 1960s as a member of the Steve Miller Band. He left the band in 1968 and went on to release his debut solo album, “Boz Scaggs,” in 1969. His breakthrough came with his 1976 album “Silk Degrees,” which included the hit songs “Lowdown” and “Lido Shuffle.”
Throughout the years, Scaggs has released a number of other successful albums, including “Middle Man,” “Other Roads,” and “Dig.” He has collaborated with many other musicians, including Duane Allman, Bonnie Raitt, and Donald Fagen.
In addition to his music career, Scaggs has also been involved in various philanthropic efforts, including supporting music education programs and working with organizations to help at-risk youth.
