Anderson’s Bicycle Rental will open for their 46th season on Saturday, April 6, 2024. April hours of operation are 10:00 am – 5:00 pm.

We are the ONLY bike rental located at the beginning of the National Forest Bike Trail, which is paved, safe and away from traffic.

When you have the best bikes in town and are at the beginning of the forest bicycle trail, everyone wants to ride! Come enjoy and take a tour of Tahoe’s most breathtaking bike path through paved paths through the national forest, down toward historical Camp Richardson and along the shores of the lake. Come see why we are voted BEST OF TAHOE. Our Bike paths will lead you and your family through the jewels of Lake Tahoe.

The season normally begins April 15th through November 15th If it’s not snowing or raining we will be open!

Every Saturday night this summer, Anderson’s Bicycle Rental will stay open until 10 p.m. so that customers can rent LED bikes and ride through the national forest to the beaches under the stars. Multiple time slots available. Please call to book! 530-541-0500.

We are the only Bicycle Rental located at the beginning of the most scenic, paved bike trail which will take you through the National Forest, over bridges, along beautiful beaches, to the Tallac Historic Sites, the Visitors Center, the Rainbow Trail, the Stream Profile Chamber and even Fallen Leaf Lake! It’s a great time for the whole family! SAFE AND AWAY FROM TRAFFIC! Free access to all the beaches on bikes!

All bike rentals are on a 1st come, 1st serve basis only! Reservations are not accepted. Our inventory is huge, so come take a ride! We have Raleigh Diamondback Mountain Bikes, We have kids BMX bikes, attachments, such as a trailer(accommodates 2 small children) and an attachment called the trail-a-bike (4 or 5 year olds who are almost ready to ride their own bikes) This attachment trails behind the adult’s bike and gives the younger child the feeling of riding on their own!

All of our rentals include: Helmets, Locks and a Map of the trail FREE of charge! Plus one of our excellent staff will explain in detail all there is to see and do along the way!
