The Heavenly Gondola is now closed. Friday, November 20th is the tentative opening day at Heavenly Mountain Ski Resort, marking the beginning of the 2026-2027 Lake Tahoe ski and ride season! (Weather permitting).

Enjoy a 2.4-mile ride up in the Heavenly Mountain Gondola with breathtaking panoramic views of Lake Tahoe. Stop halfway up at the Observation deck for photo ops, snacks, and drinks! Get on the Gondola in the Heavenly Village and have your camera ready the 2.4 mile ride will leave you breathless. Stop at the Observation Deck for panoramic views of Lake Tahoe and the surrounding Sierra Nevada mountains. More information.

Winter activities:
Winter tubing – Come and tube at Heavenly. Fun for all the family, located at the top of the Gondola. Opening in December.
Mountain Coaster – Have fun on our coaster this winter!
