The City of South Lake Tahoe’s new 64,000-square-foot Recreation & Aquatics Center is scheduled to open on April 18, 2026. This multi-generational facility will offer a wide range of recreation, fitness, and aquatics amenities designed for all ages and abilities. Below you’ll find our new annual pass options and day-use rates, along with a preview of our planned amenities. Details will continue to be updated as we move closer to opening.

Indoor Rental Spaces
- Community Room: 760 sq ft | Capacity for 39; seating for 24 | $55/hr. The community room provides a welcoming space for gatherings, presentations, and social events. It’s a great option for clubs, organizations, and families looking for a relaxed indoor venue to connect and celebrate.
- Party Room: 608 sq ft | Capacity for 41; seating for 24 | Mondays-Thursdays: $40/hr | Fridays-Sundays: $50/hr Celebrate your special occasion in our dedicated party room, designed for birthdays, team parties, and group celebrations. This comfortable space is perfect for food, cake, gifts, and downtime between activities.
- Meeting Room: 138 sq ft | Capacity for 10; seating for eight | $25/hr. Need a quiet space to meet? Our meeting room is ideal for small group meetings, planning sessions, trainings, or study groups in a professional, comfortable environment.
- Dance & Fitness Studio: 776 sq ft | Capacity for 16 | $55/hr. This open, mirrored studio is perfect for dance parties, fitness classes, rehearsals, and movement-based gatherings. With room to move and a clean, modern feel, it’s a great choice for active or creative events.
- Gymnasium: 13,053 sq ft Capacity for 1,865; bleacher seating for 288 Full gym: $250/hr | Half gym: $125/hr | Half court: $65/hr Host your next big gathering in our spacious gymnasium, perfect for tournaments, group activities, and community events. This versatile space offers plenty of room for active fun, games, and large groups in a bright, modern setting.
- Multi-Purpose Pool: 3,430 sq ft Capacity for 69 swimmers; bleacher seating for 128 Full pool: $85/hr | Half pool: $45/hr. The Multi-Purpose Pool will be the next hot spot for swim meets, birthday parties, and a general good time in the water. The pool features six lap lanes with starting blocks, a rock-climbing wall, a one-meter diving board, and an option to add an inflatable obstacle course.
- Recreation Pool: 2,881 sq ft Capacity for 58 swimmers | $95/hr Located directly next to the Multi-Purpose Pool, the zero-entry Recreation Pool is the perfect setting for family fun. The water-play features, current channel, and the warm water lap lanes offer opportunities for people of all abilities to splash and play.
NOTICE *All Children under 12 years of age must be accompanied by an adult 18 years or older. This is consistent with California State Law and the California Public Risk Sharing Authority guidelines.
