Grace has lived in Lake Tahoe for over 40 years and has been making wedding cakes for almost as long. Friends and family finally gave Grace the extra push to open her own shop in 2007. Grace and her daughters bring their creativity and passion to their bakery as a family business. Her youngest daughter Elizabeth became co-owner in 2012 and together they create the most amazing and delicious works of art. Her oldest daughter, Sarah, helps create the many edible flowers and fondant creations. They use recipes handed down for generations and have created a few favorites along the way. Creating new and exciting flavors and goodies is a passion they want to share.

Your wedding day should be unique and magical. At Tahoe Cakes by Grace, your perfect cake can take any shape, from a traditional three-tiered white buttercream to a smooth, pastel, stacked fondant cake. We can incorporate the colors of your ribbons, dress, lace, or wedding flowers.

All of our cakes are baked fresh using the finest ingredients. We even have delicious gluten-free and sugar-free flavors. Fillings can be mixed and matched to achieve any desired taste. Each tier can be a unique flavor or a different color. Choose from a simple white cake to a cake that duplicates Tiramisu, and other fine desserts. Specialty cakes are available for birthdays, bachelorette parties, or an intimate dinner for two or more at one of Tahoe’s fabulous restaurants.
