Gurney’s Lake Tahoe Resort & Spa is scheduled to open in June 2027 at 3411 Lake Tahoe Blvd in South Lake Tahoe, California.

The 7.6-acre property replaces the former Beach Retreat and Lodge after a $45 million comprehensive renovation. It marks the first West Coast expansion for Gurney’s Resorts, acting as a sister property to the flagship location in Montauk, New York.

• Accommodations: 204 to 206 newly designed lakeside rooms and suites.
• Dining & Drinks: On-site options including a coffee and pizza shop, a new Italian restaurant, and marina-adjacent dining and a sweet shop.
• Wellness & Spa: A brand-new health and wellness spa featuring a gym, five treatment rooms, and a pool.
• Recreation: Private beach access, an expanded pool deck with hot tubs, year-round fire pits, and the 1,000-foot Gurney’s Lake Tahoe Marina with access to the area’s oldest pier.
• Events: Over 8,100 square feet of upgraded indoor and outdoor technology-equipped meeting and event spaces.
