On Wednesday, July 30, 2025, at 7:30 p.m., Walt Wilkins & The Ramble will perform live inside the Boathouse Theatre at Valhalla.
Texas soul. Southern grit. Heartfelt songwriting.
Walt Wilkins & The Ramble deliver a musical experience that’s part road trip, part revival, and all heart. A legendary figure in Texas songwriting, Walt Wilkins blends Americana, country, and rock into stories that feel lived-in and true. Backed by The Mystiqueros — lovingly known as The Ramble — the band brings a rare mix of harmony, musicianship, and pure joy to the stage.
Whether you’re a lifelong fan or new to their sound, expect a show filled with soaring guitars, tight harmonies, and songs that stir the soul. This is roots music done right — from seasoned road warriors who play with passion, honesty, and a whole lotta love.
Come for the tunes, stay for the spirit. This is one night you’ll feel in your bones.
The Tallac Historic Site is located 2 miles past the intersection of Highway 50 and Highway 89, just past Camp Richardson, on the lake side of Highway 89. Please turn right on the street with the sign “Valhalla.” If the gate is locked or the 73-space parking lot is full, feel free to park along Hwy 89 outside the entrance. There is a large dirt lot just past the Valhalla Tahoe sign. Overnight parking is not allowed inside the gate. Cars can be left overnight outside the gate in the dirt lot at the owner’s own risk.
We encourage carpooling, bike riding, and good old-fashioned walking. Parking is allowed in designated 73 spaces only. There is also a large public parking lot for the Tallac Historic Site on Heritage Way, one street West of Valhalla Road, that is open in late May or early October.
Valhalla hosts a Summer Event Series each year that includes concerts in the Boathouse, improv shows, free lawn concerts, living history performances, two plays, children’s art camp, the annual Gatsby Tea and the WordWave one-act play competition. The Holiday Faire is a family tradition for many locals and visitors. Join us for a performance and experience living history against a stunning backdrop. The theatre’s interior with exposed beams from the original boathouse creates an unrivaled experience in performing arts venues.
