Tahoe Symphony Orchestra & Chorus-TOCCATA presents FAURÉ REQUIEM and RHEINBERGER ORGAN CONCERTO, Op. 137 featuring David Brock
The Tahoe Symphony is thrilled to present Fauré’s Requiem, characterized by its luminous harmonies and delicate orchestration that offers a tender and introspective take on the mass for the dead, emphasizing themes of serenity and eternal repose.Suitably paired with Fauré’s choral masterpiece is Rheinberger’s Organ Concerto, which showcases the organ’s versatility with string orchestra and its role as a most complimentary force in the symphonic landscape.
