The Best of Purple Party at Villa Harrah - Fundraiser for Live Violence Free

May 31

4:30 pm - 7:30 pm

April 29 @ 8:56 am

Live Violence Free will be hosting an elegant evening at Villa Harrah, on Saturday, May 31. This will be the first major fundraiser for this agency since before the pandemic, and community support is needed to make this vision a success. The celebration will include an exclusive unveiling of this 48-year-old organization’s vision for the next 48 years and more. Live Violence Free continues to provide support and advocacy to those who have experienced domestic violence, sexual assault, and child abuse, while educating the community about how to make a difference.

The Best of Purple Party will feature everything purple (the traditional color representing domestic violence). The celebration will host approximately 125 guests who will be invited to wear their most festive purple attire. Restaurants, caterers, and bars will offer colorful and flavorful purple beverages (alcoholic and non-alcoholic varieties) in a mixology contest format. In addition, restaurants and bakeries will present tasty purple appetizers and desserts. Florists will be providing unique purple arrangements that will be auctioned off at the end of the event.

There will be an auction focused on one-of-a-kind experiences and excursions, as well as a wine wall.

The beautiful, lakefront Villa Harrah private home is an ideal location to host this event. Beginning at 4:30 p.m., guests will see the beauty of Lake Tahoe, tour the home, experience tastings and interactive elements in multiple rooms, while learning a bit of the home’s history and interior design. VIP tours will also be available with Anna Shay, Villa Harrah’s interior designer.  Shay is an eleven-time platinum winner of the American Society of Interior Designers and will share one-of-a-kind stories about the creative process that brought to life the vision of today’s Villa Harrah home.  Attendees are invited to stay and watch the sunset across the lake and relax into a special space, all while raising funds to help Live Violence Free continue to support those affected by domestic violence, sexual assault, and child abuse.
