South Lake Tahoe Library – Friends of the Library Book Sale

Saturday, June 4th, 10:00 AM – 4:30 PM Pop-Up Book Sale. The Friends of the South Lake Tahoe Library are having a fun book sale. Looking for some great summer reads at prices that can’t be beat? Then stop by the library for our special book sale. Fill a bag with as many books as possible and get the whole thing for just $5.00! Most individual books are .25 cents a piece, with some specially marked books available for $1.00. Payment is on the honor system, and we request that you bring correct change.

Saturday, July 16th, 10:00 AM to 3 PM Book Sale. Join the Friends for a Book Sale in the South Lake Tahoe Library Community Room.  We have a wide assortment of fiction, non-fiction, reference and children’s books, an abundance of mysteries and westerns.  We want books donated by our community to find new homes. Members who have renewed for 2022 are invited to our Preview Sale at 9 AM.  Our membership table will be open at that time to welcome renewals also. Come get your beach reads!

The South Lake Tahoe Friends of the Library raises funds that are used to purchase books and other materials, including DVDs, eBooks, audiobooks, magazines, and newspapers. We provide strong support to children and teen events, especially the Summer Reading Program.
