Sierra Nevada Ballet (SNB) presents ballet’s beloved full-length comic masterpiece, Coppélia (The Girl with the Emerald Eyes). This enchanting story, rooted in both reality and fantasy, tests the devotion of the heroine and her suitor through the romantic intrigue of a beautiful, lifeless doll whose quiet, mechanical grace contrasts with the vibrant spirit of the real-life heroine. Adapted from Der Sandmann by E. T. A. Hoffmann, this tale of mischief, magical illusion, and wandering love is choreographed by SNB Founding Director Rosine Bena and Associate Artistic Director Ananda Bena-Weber. The production features stunning sets and costumes and showcases a cast of more than 30 Sierra Nevada Ballet dancers.

Parking: A Nevada State Parks Entrance Pass is required to gain access to and park at the venue that Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival (LTSF) calls home for all events. The $10/per vehicle/per day fee (applies to all vehicles when purchased in advance) is required by Nevada law and may be used to access Sand Harbor, Lake Tahoe Nevada State Park after 5:00 p.m. on the date listed on the Pass only.
