Sample the Sierra, South Lake Tahoe’s signature Food & Wine Festival, is returning to Bijou Community Park on Saturday, September 6, 2025—and it’s shaping up to be the biggest celebration yet. As the region’s largest gathering of local culinary talent, craft beverage creators, and artisan makers, this one-of-a-kind community event is a true reflection of the Tahoe spirit.

Whether you’re a longtime fan or planning your first visit, Sample the Sierra offers an unbeatable mix of flavor, community, and fun. This year is already shaping up to be one of the best yet, with over 15 food vendors, 20 beverage vendors, and more than 23 artisan makers confirmed—and more being added each week. Attendance is expected to top 1,500 guests, and with a history of selling out, now is the time to secure your tickets.

This year’s Sample the Sierra will feature returning crowd-pleasers like Bruschetta, Toulouse, MacDuff’s Pub, Fox & Hound, and Margaritaville Lake Tahoe serving up bold bites that celebrate regional and global inspiration. Sweet treats return with Tahoe Pops and The Baked Bear—perfect for an afternoon under the Sierra sun. Beverage fans can look forward to local brews from South Lake Brewing Co., Cold Water, Sidellis, plus curated wine tastings from The Idle Hour and The Cork & More.

We’re also welcoming fresh new faces to the tasting tent. South Lake’s Castle Rock Creamery brings handcrafted ice cream, while Juice It Up! joins with refreshing, fruit-forward sips. Exciting new beverage partners like Dust Bowl Brewing Co., West Peak Sparkling Spirits, and Paddle House Brews will make their festival debut, along with standout regional wineries like Terra Amata Vineyards and Lost Sierra Wine Co.

Tickets are available now at samplethesierra.com. They are known to sell out every year. Be sure to grab your tickets soon to join in on Tahoe’s tastiest event of the year!
