On Saturday, April 13, 2024, funky costumes are encouraged for this chilly tradition! Contestants attempt to ski or board across a pond of water on the mountain top! Come celebrate spring and see if you can make it across the pond or cheer on others as they skim or sink! At the base of the World Cup/Base of Tram area.
The event brings dressed-to-impress skiers and riders in onesies and tutus together to celebrate spring and see if they have what it takes to ski down and skim across a small manmade pool.
With Kona Brewing and Venture as sponsors we’re sure to have a ‘beachin’ time! We’ll have great food, good drinks, giveaways, and more! Dress your best and meet us for the iconic pond skim.
Registration: Morning of only! Start at 7:30am in Cal Lodge
Pond Skim: 1-3pm
Après Party @ Cal Lodge w/live music: 3-5pm
