According to the World Health Organization, each year an estimated 333 million new cases of curable sexually transmitted infections (STI) occur worldwide with the highest rates among those ages 20-24, followed by ages 15-19.
Join Barton Certified Nurse Midwife, Megan Galloway, to learn more about sexually transmitted diseases, prevention and treatment options.

Webinars will be hosted via Zoom and advanced registration is required. After registering with your name and email address, you will receive an email from Natasha Schue, Barton’s Community Outreach Coordinator, with a link and password for the Zoom meeting. You can test your computer’s microphone and camera in advance on Zoom’s website here. If you do not have a computer, you will also be supplied a telephone conference line (please do not attend the webinar using both your computer audio and phone, as this may cause an echo for everyone).
Alternatively, we will attempt to stream the webinar simultaneously on our Barton Health Facebook page. The Facebook feed will play a stream of the interactive Zoom call, and we will do our best to supply the speaker with any questions submitted via Facebook.

Free Sports Physicals for High School Athletes

ALL high school athletes are required to get a physical annually before they will be accepted to play, per NIAA requirements. Barton Center for Orthopedics & Wellness is offering free sports physicals on June 5 at the following times; Incoming Seniors @ 4:30 p.m.; Incoming Juniors @ 5:15 p.m.; Incoming Sophomores @ 6:00 p.m.; Incoming Freshmen @ 6:45 p.m. School paperwork is required. Parent/ guardian must be present. This evaluation does not replace your student’s annual preventative exam.

Free Blood Pressure Checks
1st and 3rd Wednesdays of each month, 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.

High blood pressure, or hypertension, is a condition that may not cause any noticeable symptoms for years. Having your blood pressure checked is the only way to know if it is high; untreated hypertension can result in serious illness.
