Carson Valley Squares is hosting another Introduction to Modern Western Square Dancing on October 17 from 6:00 to 8:30 pm at the South Lake Tahoe Senior Center. This is a great family-friendly event! (Ages 12 and up. Younger kids are possible if parents think they can dance.)
We’re working on building interest for a regular weekly class to teach Beginning Square Dancing. Homeschoolers are most welcome, as they can get PE credits for attending a class. No experience needed, no partner needed.
We dance to all genres of music from artists such as Thomas Rhett, Justin Timberlake, Bruno Mars, as well as other popular music from the 60’s to today. Come join caller Scott Olson as he introduces you to Modern Western Square Dancing! $8.00 per adult and $5.00 per student 12-18 years old.
