Darius Rucker returns to the road this summer on his Starting Fires Tour with 20 other dates across the U.S. and Canada. Joining the multi-time Diamond-certified star as direct support across most dates is popular Americana band Drew Holcomb & The Neighbors.

Darius Rucker is best known as the lead singer and rhythm guitarist of the rock band Hootie & the Blowfish, which achieved great success in the 1990s with hits such as “Hold My Hand,” “Let Her Cry,” and “Only Wanna Be with You.”

After Hootie & the Blowfish went on hiatus in 2008, Rucker pursued a solo country music career. He released his first country album, “Learn to Live,” in 2008, which produced three number-one singles on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. Rucker has since released several more country albums, including “Charleston, SC 1966,” “True Believers,” “Southern Style,” and “When Was the Last Time.”

Throughout his career, Rucker has received numerous accolades, including several Grammy Awards, Country Music Association Awards, and Academy of Country Music Awards. He has also been inducted into the Grand Ole Opry and the South Carolina Hall of Fame.

Lake Tahoe Outdoor Arena at Harveys is an all-ages venue. Everyone is required to have a ticket for both reserved and general admission shows and we discourage infants attending.
