The City of South Lake Tahoe is celebrating Independence Day with its July 4th parade along US-50/Lake Tahoe Boulevard westbound between Ski Run Blvd. and Al Tahoe Blvd.
The parade gets underway at 9:00 a.m. The theme of the parade is Stars and Stripes for Service! It will finish at Bijou Community Park on Al Tahoe.
Don’t miss out on this family-friendly event and be sure to wear your red, white, and blue! There will be places to sit along the whole route, including Lakeview Commons and the parking lot at Ross.

This is a unique opportunity to showcase community organizations while celebrating our South Lake Tahoe community, the Tahoe region, and our great nation.
Viewing locations will be westbound along Hwy 50 between Ski Run Blvd. and Al Tahoe Blvd.

4th of July Airshow over the Lake

Stay put after the parade and turn your eyes to the sky for an exhilarating 4th of July Airshow over the lake. The 129th Rescue Wing will showcase a spectacular rescue demonstration featuring Pave Hawk helicopters, pararescuers, and more. Don’t miss this thrilling display of aerial skill and precision!
The airshow will take place 1000′ off the beach off Lakeview Commons. Swimming or boating will not be permitted in the area until after 1 pm.
