Sunday, June 18, 2023, 9:00 am – 4:00 pm, Beach Clean Up Day at Sugar Pine Point State Park Lake Tahoe.
For Care for our Shared Lands Day, we will be hosting a Beach Clean Up event in order to leave the park better than we found it. Trash bags and trash grabbers will be handed out at our beachside table, where we will encourage our visitors to pick up debris throughout the park. Lake Tahoe is cherished for a number of reasons, none more special than its exceptional clarity. With lake clarity declining in recent years, it is important for us to protect and care for this place we love so dearly. Participants will develop a deeper connection to the land and water as they contribute to keeping Tahoe blue.
