Starting August 17, the Gondola is opening its doors to mountain bikers, offering access to the brand-new Panorama Trail, courtesy of Tahoe Area Mountain Biking Association. From there, link it to the Tahoe Rim Trail or Van Sickle Trail and lap it as many times as you want.
Day access starts at $39 in addition to a Gondola sightseeing ticket or Epic Pass, and includes unlimited Gondola uploads. 26/27 Epic Pass holders can also get a rest-of-season pass for $70, while Northstar Bike Park pass holders can ride for free.
Beginning Monday, August 17, Lake Tahoe locals and visitors alike can bring their bikes aboard the Heavenly Gondola and exit at mid-station, where they can connect to the newly opened Panorama Trail via the Mid-Station Connector Trail and access popular regional routes including the Tahoe Rim Trail and Van Sickle Trail. Please note that mountain bikes, including class 1 e-bikes, are permitted.

- 2026/27 Epic Pass holders: $39
- Walk-up guests: $39 plus a Gondola sightseeing ticket
Day bike access tickets include unlimited gondola upload rides for the day.
