Nevada Beach Campground is now closed for the season. We hope to see you in the spring of 2024. Reservations can be made 6 months in advance through recreation.gov for camping at Nevada Beach Campground.

As a reminder when visiting the beach now and through the winter months, there is no restrooms or trash service. Please pack it in and pack it out so that everyone can enjoy the beauty of Lake Tahoe.

The day-use area of Nevada Beach located in the Tahoe Basin, does not allow dogs on the beach, and No charcoal grills are allowed. (Propane grills are allowed.) We hope to see you there!

Nevada Beach offers 1/2 mile of beautiful sandy beach with panoramic views of Lake Tahoe and the surrounding Sierra Nevada Mountains. Swimming, picnicking and just enjoying the view are popular activities. Kayak rentals and a food concession are available onsite. The beach is managed by a concessionaire under a US Forest Service special use permit. On the south end of the Nevada Swimming Beach is a small boat-in picnic area (no loading ramp). Pets on a leash are allowed in this picnic area.

Located 2 miles north of Stateline on Hwy. 50 off Elk Point Rd. 1/2 west of Round hill Shopping Center, Zephyr Cove, NV. (775) 588-5562.

The beach is managed by a concessionaire under a US Forest Service special use permit. Attendants are on duty during operating hours to provide any assistance. Day use fee/ vehicle fee is paid when parking inside the gate.
