Great American Cookies has just opened its first location in South Lake Tahoe at The Shops at Heavenly Village. The dessert chain’s claim to fame is creating the Original Cookie Cake which dates to 1977.
They are also known for their delicious, fresh-baked cookies, Double Doozies, and brownies.
The new Great American Cookies is located in the former Nestle’s Tollhouse shop at 1001 Heavenly Village Way, Unit 10, South Lake Tahoe, Calif., and is open Sunday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
