DAVID BORGES & PAULA PETERSON

Join us for an evening with Lake Tahoe Historical Society historians, Dave Borges and Paula Peterson,
as they share the intentional sinking of the SS Tahoe in 1940 by the Bliss family and other steamship lore
of sunken ships in Lake Tahoe. The helm wheel of the SS Tahoe was removed and is on exhibit at the History Museum.

Visit the Museum Thursday, Friday, or Saturday from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm to see this amazing artifact.

All talks are at Lakeview Commons in South Lake Tahoe. Join them on the steps at the shore for an hour of interesting topics and entertainment. The Commons is located at 1004 Lakeview Avenue. The Lake Tahoe Historical Society brings these free events to you, and donations are appreciated.
