Primo’s Lake Tahoe opened its doors in May 2024, fulfilling owner Jim Primo’s long-held dream of establishing a stand-alone location. Our menu showcases a modern approach to Italian cuisine—moving beyond the traditional “red sauce” while still honoring our culinary roots. While we continue to offer beloved classics from our original menu, our current selection is defined by creativity, refinement, and innovation.

Italian cuisine has deep cultural roots, and at Primo’s we see it as a canvas for endless possibilities. Our talented Chef handcrafts exceptional dishes using premium ingredients sourced from across Italy, blending them with contemporary techniques and presentation to create a truly elevated dining experience.

Our curated wine list features a broad selection of Italian varietals alongside distinguished California wines, thoughtfully paired to complement every dish. Guests can also enjoy specialty wine pours, signature craft cocktails and mocktails, and a rotating selection of craft beers on tap.

Primo’s offers a beautiful heated outdoor patio and several unique dining rooms, each designed to provide an inviting and memorable atmosphere.
