Lake Tahoe Gingerbread House Competition

Think you’ve got the gingerbread skills to impress? Enter the Lake Tahoe Gingerbread House Competition and show off your masterpiece during South Lake Tahoe’s Festival of Winter Lights on December 13-14!

With separate categories for adults and youth, this is a fantastic opportunity for all ages to create a show-stopping gingerbread house! Adult entries compete for cash prizes: $1,000 for 1st place, $500 for 2nd, and $250 for 3rd. Youth entries will have the chance to win a trophy and a professional baking set. Plus, with both a People’s Choice Award and a panel of expert judges, there are even more chances to take home a prize.

Competition Details:
 Display Location: Festival of Winter Lights Grounds
 Prizes: Cash prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place, plus the People’s Choice Award
 Registration Deadline: November 25

After the festival, participating gingerbread houses will be featured around town in the Gingerbread House Crawl, hosted by local businesses, giving your creation even more exposure!
