Wolf Jett on the Lawn at Valhalla Tahoe

July 27

4:30 pm - 6:30 pm

May 21 @ 7:08 am

Sunday, July 27, 2025, Wolf Jett – Free concert on the Grand Lawn at Valhalla Tahoe.

The sound of Wolf Jett will make you dance, sing… and possibly even howl!

Their all-original songs are an upbeat celebration, infusing folk, soul and Americana into what they call “Cosmic Mountain Music.” Co-founded by two life-long friends and musical partners, Wolf Jett combines the southern-fried vocals of Tennessee-born frontman Chris Jones with Jon Payne’s endlessly groovy drums. They perform with Duncan Shipton on bass, and their wolf pack family of female vocals (Laura T Lewis, Allyson Makuch), electric guitar (Will Fourt, Rory Cloud), and occasional keys (Alex Jordan).

The Tallac Historic Site is located 2 miles past the intersection of Highway 50 and Highway 89, just past Camp Richardson, on the lake side of Highway 89. Please turn right on the street with the sign “Valhalla.” If the gate is locked or the 73-space parking lot is full, feel free to park along Hwy 89 outside the entrance. There is a large dirt lot just past the Valhalla Tahoe sign. Overnight parking is not allowed inside the gate. Cars can be left overnight outside the gate in the dirt lot at the owner’s own risk.

We encourage carpooling, bike riding, and good old-fashioned walking. Parking is allowed in designated 73 spaces only. There is also a large public parking lot for the Tallac Historic Site on Heritage Way, one street West of Valhalla Road, that is open in late May or early October.

Valhalla hosts a Summer Event Series each year that includes concerts in the Boathouse, improv shows, free lawn concerts, living history performances, two plays, children’s art camp, the annual Gatsby Tea and the WordWave one-act play competition. The Holiday Faire is a family tradition for many locals and visitors. Join us for a performance and experience living history against a stu
