Exclusive Tuesday and Friday guided tours let you explore the magic and mystery of the historic Thunderbird Lodge and Whittell Estate grounds.
Learn about Captain Whittell’s conservation of Lake Tahoe’s Nevada shoreline and see his world-famous mansion including secret tunnels, card house, and the legendary Thunderbird yacht (when available).
RESERVATIONS REQUIRED.
Tours are on Tuesdays and Fridays at 9:30 am, 11:00 am, 12:30 pm, and 2:00 pm, May 30 – October 13, 2023. 75 minute tour.
Shuttles depart from the Travel North Tahoe Nevada Welcome (Visitor’s) Center, 969 Tahoe Blvd., Incline Village, NV 89451. Please arrive 10 minutes early. No private cars allowed at the Thunderbird Lodge. For more information, call 1-800-GO-TAHOE (1-800-468-2463).
